Dell Enterprise Product Specialist appointed at DCC

Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has appointed Jeremy Pillai as its Dell Enterprise Product Specialist to strengthen and enhance the Enterprise team. Pillai will be managing and overseeing the Dell Enterprise Hardware, Networking and Software infrastructure product lines. He brings a wealth of information gained from working in vendor, reseller and distributor environments.

Pillai started his career at a vendor where he primarily focused on the development of channel partners, sales generation, brand awareness and partner management. He later joined DCC as an External Account Manager in 2012 where he managed various DCC reseller accounts and fostered relationships with them. He has now been appointed into his current position of Dell Enterprise Product Specialist where he can further advance his skills and experience in the Enterprise arena.

“Ensuring the sales team is always up to date with new products and developments are key requirements within this role. As a Product Specialist, it is vital to provide support to our internal and external sales teams and ensure they have all the tools and training required to successfully sell their products,” says Pillai.

Pillai’s responsibilities cover a wide array of tasks including being the first point of call to sales staff and colleagues. Pillai will also ensure all marketing material is up to date, continuously research new products and developments, source new products and ensure enough stock is always available in the warehouse.

“I have been given the opportunity to develop within the Dell Enterprise environment at DCC and this will further enhance my knowledge and skills. My previous experience affords me the opportunity to ensure customer needs and requirements are understood and can be met with efficiency,” says Pillai.

“My aim in the next six months is to ensure DCC and Dell’s Enterprise position in the market is further reinforced, ensuring we carry the right products for our customers’ needs,” concludes Pillai.
