Duxbury Networking spotlights GSM range extenders at Africa.com
Specialist distributor Duxbury Networking will be exhibiting its line-up of GSM range extenders and 3G/4G smart cell repeaters at AfricaCom, Africa’s largest annual communications congress and exhibition (12-14 November).
“The offerings on show come from some of the world’s leaders in this field, including Coiler, Nexitivity who design solutions that are eminently suitable for the African continent where mobile connectivity is rapidly overtaking fixed line activity,” says Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking.
“Cellular network communications are also helping to tackle health, social, environmental and development challenges in Africa,” says Robb. “However, because of the distances involved between service providers’ base stations, optimisation of GSM and 3G/4G data signals through the use of range extenders and smart repeaters is often necessary for outlying communities and subscribers to gain the full benefits of voice and data connectivity.”
Featured on the Duxbury stand at AfricaCom will be Coiler’s mobile signal enhancement solutions for indoor and outdoor coverage for all mobile networks, together with IP (Internet Protocol) communications offerings from 2N ranging from mobile voice solutions to wireless leased-line replacement options.
“Duxbury will also have the latest indoor smart repeaters from Nextivity on display,” adds Robb. “They are designed to enable and optimise cellular network products that then offer enhanced voice and data connectivity.”
