DCC introduces the HP Pro X Series
Recognised by the Guinness World Records as the ‘World’s Fastest Desktop Colour Printer’, the HP Pro X Series is now available from distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC). The Pro X Series is ideal for environmentally conscious professionals in small to medium sized work teams or businesses with three to 15 users who require quality desktop printing at fast speeds and low operating costs.
“The HP Pro X Series has revolutionised business printing with PageWide technology that delivers professional quality, durability and super-fast printing at almost half the cost of laser printing. Furthermore, the Pro X series ensures water, smear and fade resistant documents. Featuring four printers within the range, the Pro X Series caters for all kinds of business applications,” says Caron de Fortier, HP Printers and Supplies Division Manager at DCC.
With print speeds of up to 70 Pages Per Minute (PPM) in general office mode on both black and colour, the HP OfficeJet Pro X Series delivers high-quality professional documents at twice as fast as most colour lasers. A single-pass printing system paired with HP PageWide Technology brings together the best of ink and laser printing. One of the features of HP’s PageWide technology is that the print head remains stationary and spans the entire width of the paper resulting in super-fast speeds whilst ensuring quieter operation and fewer moving parts. This is the same HP PageWide technology found in high end HP Inkjet Web Press solutions that deliver ‘print house’ quality.
The Pro X Series provides best-in-class paper capacity, allowing users to print up to 9 200 pages per cartridge and load up to 1 050 sheets at once with an optional 500 sheet input tray. With an output capacity larger than any competing desktop device, the HP Pro X Series holds up to 300-sheets of paper. The convenient front door on the device allows easy cartridge replacement while the single side door allows users to easily clear potential paper jams.
Ideal for mobile print environments, the Pro X series features HP ePrint allowing users to print from virtually anywhere using a smartphone or tablet with no additional third-party software or service fees. All four printers in the series are duplex enabled. Featuring HPs Embedded Web Server (EWS) which allows print management of workflows and settings via a web portal.
