The most watched series in cable TV history, “The Walking Dead’ will return to audiences in South Africa on 10 February 2014 for a further 8 episodes of Season 4, sponsored by Brother International South Africa. The episodes will air on Fox Channel 125 on DSTV on Monday nights at 22:00 with repeat shows on Fridays at 21:10, and Sunday at 21:55. .
Brother International South Africa has partnered with Fox and DSTV to sponsor the naming rights of Season 4 of the popular series when it returns to our screens next month. “The popularity of The Walking Dead series offers Brother a significant opportunity to build our brand on a national level and ties in with our current marketing strategies,” says Dale de Villiers, marketing manager of Brother South Africa.
Brother is expanding its footprint in the South African printer, multi-function centre and labelling markets with the recent addition of the mid-range colour laser machines and the imminent launch of two new A3 inkjet multi-function centres in March. Brother has also recently launched innovative products such as the Stampcreator Pro custom stamp-making machine, automatic document scanners and mobile document scanners among others. The Walking Dead zombie drama continues to break ratings records worldwide across 200 entertainment channels in 122 countries. The series has garnered two Emmy® Awards for outstanding prosthetic make-up, a Golden Globe® Award nomination for Best Television Series – Drama and a WGA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Derivative New Media, among other accolades.
