Commvault, a global leader in enterprise backup, recovery, archive and the cloud, began its fiscal year for 2018 with continued worldwide growth with customers and managed service providers (MSPs) in the first quarter.

The growth was fuelled by the increasing need to protect and use data to drive the digital transformation, the accelerated shift to the cloud to drive increased business agility, innovation and collaboration, and the increased regulatory demands faced by global organisations to meet GDPR and other requirements.
