Commvault, the recognised global enterprise software leader in the management of data for cloud, virtual and on-premise environments, is set to host its second annual ‘Connections Live’ event in South Africa on the 16th of July 2019 at The Venue, Melrose Arch.

Tech industry expert, master of ceremonies and keynote speaker Aki Anastasiou will moderate a panel discussion examining cloud adoption in South Africa and its impact on data protection, and the event itself will be dedicated to delivering insights into the latest ‘data-centric’ trends for partners looking to further support their local customers working with Commvault.

Industry experts, customers and partners will all take to the stage to share their insights on the increasingly important subject of backup and data management in the digital era, and this year’s event will dive into topics such as cloud readiness, adoption and HyperScale, as well as how to cloud responsibly with Commvault. It will also provide a platform for Commvault to recognise the outstanding achievement of its partners in the region, over the last 12 months.

“Our partners and customers are at the heart of our business, and we need to ensure we listen to them, communicate with them and recognise their achievements if we want to remain relevant – today in Johannesburg is a way for us to do just that,” comments Bruce Park, AVP EMEA routes to market at Commvault.

We are continuously working to ensure that the South African market understands the value that only Commvault solutions can deliver, and ‘Connections Live’ provides the ideal platform to communicate our strategy, outline our products and discuss relevant industry topics and trends that affect us all.

“Coming back to Johannesburg for the second year in a row affirms our commitment to our local partners and customers, and we’re looking forward to many more iterations of Connections Live, for years to come,” concludes Wael Mustafa, AVP for at Commvault.
