Commvault, a recognised global enterprise software leader in the management of data for cloud and on-premise environments, will be hosting its second ‘Connections Live’ event in South Africa.
The event takes place on 16th of July at The Venue in Melrose Arch, and this year’s focus is on hot topics such as cloud readiness, cloud adoption and HyperScale.
Technology guru and celebrity technologist, Aki Anastasiou will act as Master of Ceremonies at the event, delivering a keynote and moderating a panel discussion on cloud adoption in South Africa, including industry experts from Commvault, its customers and partners.
“The cloud is top of mind for every CTO and CIO, but what does this mean for their data and backup and data management strategy? Migrating into the cloud without considering the implications on your data is a critical error. Businesses need to have effective data management in place to ensure they are multi-cloud ready,” says Wael Mustafa, Area Vice President for the Middle East, South Africa and Turkey (MESAT) for Commvault.
“Catering to demand for IT in today’s world requires businesses to seamlessly provision and add compute, memory, networking, and storage resources. The increasing trend towards multi-cloud strategies is fuelling a renewed focus on data management, migration and security, so Connections Live provides the perfect forum to discuss these topics,” added Jason Barr – NEC XON General Manager.
Connections Live aims to help local businesses address their data challenges, and highlights how the Commvault suite of solutions and partner network is able to resolve them.
This event is an ideal opportunity for Commvault partners, customers and potential customers to network, connect and share experiences. It provides a platform for attendees to explore ways of simplifying data management across multi-cloud environments before making the move.
