CloudSmiths, a Dynamic Technologies group company, is celebrating an impressive 61 new certifications amassed by employees in just six months.

These certifications are in a range of technologies offered by some of CloudSmiths’ preeminent partners, and they play a vital role in guaranteeing the quality and credentials of the services that CloudSmiths offers.

Certifications are standardised courses and exams set by tech providers such as Salesforce, Microsoft, MuleSoft, Google, and Databricks. Patrick Eriksen, Head of Marketing at CloudSmiths, says, “For tech providers, these certifications are a stamp of approval.

Each specific certification is the same exam all over the world and it is strictly managed and overseen, ensuring that a benchmark for that technology or skillset is maintained.”

Caryn Schalit, Chief People Officer at CloudSmiths, explains the strategy behind which certifications are chosen based on what CloudSmiths’ partners offer and what the market requires.

She says, “Our engineers and developers must do two to three certifications every year. We identify individuals within the company whose specialties, interests, or skills align with relevant certifications. We then give them the opportunity to attain them.”

“It’s quite strategic, as we understand the market and target those certifications that we know will benefit our clients the most, and that will drive growth in both our skills and our business.”

Of the 61 certifications completed in the first six months of the year, 36 were in either Salesforce or MuleSoft, 11 in Microsoft Azure, six in Google Cloud, and one Databricks Data Engineer. CloudSmiths is proud to announce that with the Databricks certification, they are embarking on the Databricks Champions Programme.

“When our salespeople deal with clients, they know they can sell a number of different partnerships and that we have the skills in our wheelhouse, backed by a broad base of certifications, to support those sales.” says Eriksen.

Schalit adds, “These certifications support our sales and implementations. It’s important to our customers that we are able to offer top-notch services, and it’s important to our employees that they have the skills do so.”

She says, “Clients can trust that we put our money where our mouth is; it’s proof that our skills are both up to date and up to scratch.”

“We’re only six months into the year and CloudSmiths is already 61 certifications stronger,” notes Eriksen.

“That’s something we can be justifiably proud of, and there’s still another six months to go this year. I’m excited to see what we achieve next.”
