InspiredXpert Managing Director Marina Baptista

Marina Baptista has been appointed Managing Director of InspiredXpert, a Dynamic Technologies group company, with the mandate to lead the company’s expansion in the UK and Europe. 

With businesses in the IT sector struggling to find and afford skilled professionals in an increasingly competitive and costly job market, InspiredXpert offers a non-traditional solution that is fast, efficient and cost-effective.

Based in the UK, the company has clients in the Netherlands and is also focusing further afield. Any territory that will benefit from offshore IT services from South Africa, or even on-site in their own country, is something that the InspiredXpert team can deliver on. 

“We can support businesses globally, and at a great rate thanks to our 12.5% margin – this is one of several aspects that makes us different,” says Baptista.

She explains, “There’s no denying that businesses are under pressure. In the UK, rising employment costs and economic uncertainty are forcing companies to rethink their hiring strategies. At the same time, in countries such as the Netherlands, the demand for skilled IT professionals is outpacing supply. It’s a global challenge, and companies need smarter solutions to stay ahead.”

Baptista shares a long history with the founders of InspiredXpert, as well as the brands within the Dynamic Technologies group and, in the last ten years, has worked for both DVT and Inspired Testing. 

When she was offered the role of managing director at InspiredXpert, it felt like a natural next step for her. She says, “It was a chance to build something a bit different, with values that align with how I like to work: open, honest, human.” 

She adds, “InspiredXpert is very collaborative. There’s a genuine willingness to roll up sleeves and make things happen by the team – good people doing good work. Everyone’s open to ideas and feedback, which I really value.”

What sets InspiredXpert apart is how different it is to traditional placement agencies. “We’re not here to sling CVs or flood inboxes,” explains Baptista.

“We’re here to understand what businesses are trying to build and help them get there faster with the right people in place, whether it’s one specialist or a full team. Baptista’s aim is to build trust and a reputation for the long term, with clients, candidates and partners. The company’s process is about much more than simply box-ticking a job spec. 

“We work to understand the team dynamic, the culture, the pace of the project and the personalities involved,” says Baptista.

“We also try to avoid overcomplicating things, the process is streamlined, communication is clear and we always aim for that balance between speed and quality. We are also very flexible and will pivot in style and delivery according to clients’ needs.”

InspiredXpert offers the experience and network of a much bigger firm, but with the flexibility and responsiveness of a smaller one. If the need is for offshore delivery from South Africa, then the process is seamless and swift as the company has access to a large network of readily available IT professionals. 

They introduce profiles, set up the interview and arrange contracts, all within a few days. If the client requires someone on-site, or permanently, the process is still very swift, but additional steps are introduced towards the end to finalise the offer. 

The firm is a particularly good fit for their UK clients where businesses are under pressure to deliver fast turnarounds, but with increasingly lean internal teams.
