Two new devices deliver unbeatable portability and flexible connectivity
Global print, imaging and innovation leader, Epson, has added two new devices to its successful LabelWorks range of printers: The LW-600P and LW-1000P.
The LW-600P is the smallest and lightest[1] 24mm desktop label printer on the market, delivering unrivalled portability, while the LW-1000P offers a wide range of connectivity choices, including Wi-Fi and wireless device-to-device printing, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments.
The LW-600P offers great flexibility as it can be connected to a computer or used as a portable label maker, enabling users to print from both iOS and Android Smartphones or tablets with the free Epson iLabel app. Bluetooth connectivity ensures multiple users can print without the need for any network. It is easy to use and is fast, with three simple operating buttons and print speeds of up to 15mm/s at 180dpi.
The LW-1000P is a versatile tool for large corporates, small and medium businesses, and maintenance industries, as well as warehouse departments and factories. It provides multiple connectivity options, which include Wi-Fi, wireless device-to-device, USB and PC printing and Ethernet, which means it can be shared with multiple users too. Similar to the LW-600P, users can print from both iOS and Android smartphones or tablets using the free Epson iLabel App.
The LW-1000P keeps users productive, thanks to fast printing speeds of up to 35mm/sec at 360dpi, making it Epson’s fastest LabelWorks printer. It provides the convenience of printing labels with widths up to 36mm. Features including tape end detection, full and half-automatic cutter and a top-loading tape feed contribute to the LW-1000P’s effortless operation. An integrated trim cutter can also round label edges, which helps reduce peeling once labels are affixed.

The LW-1000P and the LW-600P are now available with a recommended retail price of R5, 271.58 (Incl VAT) and R2, 499.00 (Incl VAT) respectively.
