Huawei, a global leading information technology and communication (ICT) solutions provider, showcased its data centre infrastructure solutions to corporate clients at the Data Centre Dynamics 2013, held on 7th and 8th October in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The presentation Agile Data Centre, Empowered Business, conducted by Mario Vecchia, Manager Presales of Huawei, pointed out the benefits of adopting technologies as flexible and scalable option investments in data centres. According to the executive, there are six major challenges that companies face in the choice of technologies for data centres: implementation time, portability, Tier 3, reducing OPEX and CAPEX and scalability.
Compact and portable, the Container Data Centre brings together Huawei systems of heat management, power supplies and Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), and assists IT managers to realise their projects with minimal impact on the business. Made of steel and polyurethane, its innovative design and structure enables Huawei container data centres to survive earthquakes of up to eight magnitudes.
In Brazil, Huawei’s Container Data Centre can be implemented for different applications and different industries, such as backup sites for internet service providers, banks and other financial institutions, universities, industries, hospitals, and any business that plans to implement cloud computing. Moreover, being portable and highly scalable, these data centres are suitable for quick setup in emergency or remote sites.
