Huawei is launching something big in London on 15 April – possibly the Ascend P8.

It has been nearly a year since the launch of the Ascend P7, and Huawei’s newly released teaser video seems to be showing off a smartphone.

Rumours already abound, with many speculating that the new device will have a ceramic and glass build with an aluminium frame.

The new device is expected to have a 5.2 inch 1920×1080 screen in a 6.4mm body, much like the Ascend P7.

However, speculation suggests that it might have an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 CPU at its core, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Rumour has it that the rear camera will still be 13 megapixels, but the video seems to imply that we can expect better, brighter photos from the new device.

Of course, we’ll only know for sure on 15 April when the device is officially launched in London.

Meanwhile, check out the video below and decide for yourself if you think the rumours are true or not.
