About to land in South Africa, the Teltonika Networks’ new Bluetooth PUCK devices are set to shake-up such sectors as asset management and the cold chain with the latest in monitoring technology.

Teltonika’s latest addition, Blue Puck MAG Bluetooth magnet contact sensors, cover extensive business cases, such as securing doors, hoods, roller doors, or similar objects with open/close status monitoring. With a magnet in combination with the sensor, it can send information when the magnet is attached or detached. Bluetooth magnet sensors are small signal transmitters with easily configurable signal strength and data send intervals.

The sensor uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology to get data from distances up to 500 meters in range and they can work from one battery for up to five years. The sensors also feature a lifecycle of up to 11 years, 2.4 GHz Bluetooth low energy 4.0/4.2, NFC configuration support, and IP68, which classifies the degree of protection against solid objects and water.

Add to this the new Teltonika Blue Puck MOV Bluetooth movement sensor, ideal for securing assets such as trailers or for any other specific equipment motion status monitoring, including angular position and unexpected movement detection.

These Bluetooth motion sensors are small signal transmitters with configurable signal strength and data send intervals. The sensor uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology to get data from up to a 500-meter long-distance range. It has a battery life of as much as 12 years with 2.4 GHz Bluetooth low energy 4.0/4.2, IP68, and easy configuration with a dedicated mobile application via NFC support.

The cold chain is also in for the perfect monitoring solution in the Teltonika Blue Puck RHT Bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor. Ideal for wide use in cold chain logistics, freezers, refrigerators, refrigerated transporters, and any other temperature and humidity-sensitive cases, this sensor also uses advanced Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology to get data from up to 500 meters.

This sensor can work from its 2.4 GHz Bluetooth low energy 4.0/4.2 internal battery for up to 15 years. The collected temperature information of the surrounding environment is transferred to an FMB device which is able to support up to four temperature sensors at the same time. This sensor has both NFC support and IP 65 rating.

Last but certainly not least, the Teltonika Blue Puck T Bluetooth temperature sensor also fits the requirements of cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive cases. With its 2.4 GHz Bluetooth low energy 4.0/4.2 internal battery it can operate flawlessly for up to 19 years, also coming with NFC support, IP68 rating, and up to a 500-meter open field range. The collected temperature information of the surrounding environment is transferred to an FMB device, also able to support up to four temperature sensors at the same time!
