At CES 2016 in Las Vegas, Huawei launched a new special-edition matte gold version of the popular Nexus 6P.

“The Nexus 6P was one of the top smartphones launched in 2015, and we are excited to continue our collaboration with Google,” Kevin Ho President, Huawei Consumer BG Handset Product Line, said at CES 2016.

Jointly manufactured by Huawei and Google, this special edition gold Nexus 6P offers a stylish option for people who want a more luxurious, premium device.

Slow-motion video up to 240fps is also supported by the 6P, along with the ability to shoot in 4K.

A smart burst mode allows for photos to be taken at 30fps, which can then be used to make GIFs.

The Nexus 6P comes with a USB Type-C port that can charge the device as twice as fast as an Apple iPhone 6 Plus, said Google, while a fingerprint scanner is also standard.

The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow is available in Frost White, Aluminium, and Graphite colours – in addition to the new matte gold.
