Netshield, a leading supplier of technology hardware, software and services, has announced that it will expand its customer and reseller support by introducing its online store in South Africa. The store will enable customers to order a myriad Netshield products directly from the company online \u2013 eliminating timely order processing.<\/p>\n

According to Inus Dreckmeyr, CEO at Netshield South Africa, local resellers have been facing challenges in terms of getting orders fulfilled through traditional channels, particularly smaller orders that are needed urgently in a break fix environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne such challenge was having to call or email every supplier or distributor in order to source the best prices, then to confirm if they have stock on hand and then to full in the necessary paperwork to get the order processed. This is an onerous process that takes time that could be better spent advising customers, supplying paying services or simply getting the job done much quicker without having to wait for weeks for some of the more consumable items that we stock,\u201d states Dreckmeyr.<\/p>\n

By introducing an online store, Netshield will be providing an online shopping destination for its resellers that includes the company\u2019s full range of imported products, covering information technology infrastructure, including product ranges such as transceiver SFP, SFP+, QSFP and QSFP28 modules, media converters, PoE modules, ethernet switches, fibre patch leads and compatible Cisco cables to name a few. The platform aims to simplify the process of checking for availability of stock, getting quotes and placing orders.<\/p>\n

In addition, resellers will no longer have to wait up to weeks for order fulfilment for these products and similar products that are often the glue holding an environment together. \u201cToday\u2019s customers want instant feedback. If they don\u2019t get it, they will turn to another supplier, so we are effectively allowing them to cut through the red tape, and get straight to the source,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor resellers, this means no more long waits for pricing and availability, or for someone from a supplier to get back to them. It puts the control of their business back in their hands,\u201d says Dreckmeyr.<\/p>\n

Special deals and exclusive offers will also be available from the store during peak seasons and holiday periods throughout the year.<\/p>\n
