Medscheme move on swiftly with PDT’s Queue Management Solution

PDT implemented an intelligent screen-based queue management system for Medscheme, in their busy Pretoria, Roodepoort and Durban branches. Previously, Medscheme was using a visitor register book which was laborious, slow and frustrated their clients and staff.

Medscheme’s clients now simply take a numbered ticket from the ticketing kiosk and relax. As soon as a relevant consultant is available, the screen announces and displays the number to be served next.

Clients love it because they know where they are in the queue, they feel reassured that they will not be forgotten, no one can jump the queue and they can manage their expectation of waiting time.

Medscheme has enjoyed a 100% increase in visitors’ throughput since implementing the PDT queue management solution. This means their staff are assisting twice as many customers per day.

PDT provided the system software and hardware and Medscheme manages their own network. PDT is delighted with the results that their queue management solution has brought Medscheme.
