Global smartphone brand, TECNO, welcomes talented young South Africans to spark their passions on the Hustle Hub stage, a virtual platform open to all hustlers looking to flex their creative and entrepreneurial muscle for a chance to kickstart their dreams and win R80,000 in cash.
A star-studded panel of judges has been assembled to select the TECNO Hustle Hub winner, consisting of award-winning entrepreneur and socialite, Mohale Motaung, Rhythm City sweetheart, Mbalenhle Zakwe, and beauty queen and all-round hustler Zabelo Hlabisa, along with digital creators Kamohelo Pule and Wian West.
“I know how tough it can be when you’re just starting out, trying to get your hustle off the ground and establish a name for yourself, especially without access to opportunities like the Hustle Hub from my TECNO fam,” says Motaung. “It’s a privilege to be part of this, and to be able to give another young hustler the chance to ignite their passion and make their dreams a reality too.”
Hustle Hub entrants simply need to upload a video, picture, or written entry of their unique hustle to the Hustle Hub website. There are no limits to the hustles, it can be anything from acting and photography to dancing and design.
This exciting initiative forms part of the launch campaign of TECNO’s latest product offering, set to hit SA shores later this month; the SPARK 8C promises young South Africans more opportunities to unleash and express their creative genius.
“We are excited to reveal what we have in store for South Africa’s creative young hustlers. While our lips are sealed on the details of the new device for now, I can say that the launch of the new SPARK 8C will reinforce TECNO’s position as an enabler of opportunities and showcase our commitment to bringing young people’s hustles to life.” says Zikona Captain, TECNO PR Manager.
Those interested in entering their hustle or learning more about the Hustle Hub can find more information at www.tecno.co.za and TECNO South Africa’s social media pages. Deadline for submissions is 19 June 2022, and the winner will be announced at the competition finale event on June 30, where shortlisted hustlers will get the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to the judges.
“South Africa is brimming with rich and diverse talent just waiting to be discovered, and our goal is to create, build and nurture a platform where they can be recognised and celebrated for being their true, creative and authentic selves,” says Captain.
