South African fans of TECNO, the innovative technology brand with operations in over 70 global markets, will be excited to hear that one of its latest smartphones, the SPARK 20C, is now available in the country.

The successor to last year’s budget-friendly SPARK 10C brings upgraded features and specs at an equally great-value-for-money price. Here is more information about the standout tech incorporated into the device that is worth talking about.

Double Up, Level Up

Building on the foundation set by the SPARK 10C, the SPARK 20C comes with the mantra of Double Up, Level Up, a reflection of the upgrades to this phone’s tech from its predecessor. It starts with the display, which while remaining as a 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz has switched the teardrop display to a punch-hole display with the new Dynamic Port also present. This brings actions such as background calling, charging reminders, and easier multi-tasking, as these actions are present on the screen while you can be busy with something else on the phone.

Enhanced Audio with Dual Speakers

The loudness of the audio of the SPARK 20C has increased by as much as 400% from the SPARK 10C, as the switch was made from a single speaker to a dual speaker DTS setup. This translates to better quality audio for the user when playing music, watching videos, or communicating with others through calls or voice notes.

Great-Looking Pictures and Videos

SPARK 20C’s 50MP dual rear camera means life’s perfect moments can be captured to showcase on social media every time. Its ultra definition imaging system uses AI to fine-tune image quality making each snap ultra clear and worthy of being posted to Instagram. The device also comes with enough space to house all the pictures and videos captured, so that some don’t have to be deleted, boasting 128GB ROM.

NFC Makes Connecting Easier

Tap to pay and tap to share are both possible with the SPARK 20C, thanks to the NFC capabilities that the device comes with. Fast and seamless connecting are the order of the day, which brings more convenience to the user while also boosting security measures.

Other Talk Worthy Tech

In addition to the aforementioned tech, the user experience of the SPARK 20C is bolstered by its octa-core 2.2Ghz processor. Lag-free and smooth usage is the order of the day, with interruption-free usage driven by the phone’s 5,000mAh battery. When the phone’s power does need topping up, an 18W fast charger included in the box with the device gets it juiced up, reaching 50% battery in just 46 minutes. Security and privacy is improved by the side fingerprint sensor on the device.

TECNO’s new SPARK 20C phone is available from all Edgars stores nationwide with a launch offer deal of only R2,999 (save R850) that also includes free gifts worth R400 (valid until 31 May 2024).
