WestconGroup Southern Africa is pleased to announce that Michael Fouche has been appointed as NetApp business development manager for the coastal region. Fouche joins the company from his previous position as the territory and partner manager for EMC South Africa in the Eastern Cape.
Fouche has extensive experience in the IT industry having held senior positions in sales, account and partner management. His engineering background has given him an intricate understanding of how IT works and in addition to this Fouche has owned his own IT sales and services business.
“When looking to appoint an individual for the position we needed someone with the relevant experience and a detailed understanding of how distribution works. Michael has worked in the industry previously and having owned his own business has given him the skills and insight he needs to understand all levels of our business,” says Louise Taute, Comstor director at WestconGroup Southern Africa.
“I am completely comfortable leaving the NetApp product portfolio in Michael’s hands and look forward to seeing him maintain and grow our partner and reseller relationships in the coastal region.”
