WestconGroup Southern Africa has appointed Hlanganani Chauke as its company secretary and compliance officer. Chauke completed her LLB degree at The University of the Witwatersrand and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with two years of post-articles commercial experience.

Responsibilities that Chauke will take on in her new position include all those related to company secretary, legal matters and contracts, compliance matters and company statutory matters. She will be reporting to Elmien Du Toit, COO at WestconGroup Southern Africa.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to Hlanganani. I believe we can trust her to ensure that WestconGroup Southern Africa is consistently lawfully correct and compliant. I wish her a long and happy stay with the group,” says Du Toit.

In addition to her work as a legal advisor, Chauke has also worked as a judge’s associate/clerk and a candidate attorney. Her expertise include legal research, legal drafting and writing as well as analytic and legal interpretation skills.
