Westcon-Comstor Southern Africa is pleased to announce that it has appointed Pieter Terblanche in the capacity of Services Business Development Manager (BDM), reporting to Services Solutions Director, Heinz Stephan.
Terblanche has in excess of 15 years’ sales, marketing, management and advertising experience which he has accumulated from a number of positions including owning two of his own businesses, one being financial solutions related and the other pertaining to software monetisation products, cloud services and data encryption, office automation solutions and ICT.
His work experience has been related to the sales of a variety of products and offerings, within his own businesses and elsewhere. Terblanche describes himself as a “hunter-type person” who knows what it takes to generate new business and keep existing clients happy through professional project and account management, while simultaneously keeping an eye out for new leads.
Terblanche’s outstanding achievements include running his own business for six years, as well as opening eight franchises countrywide and maintaining them. He also established links across Africa with independent sales consultants to market and advertise his products, while managing almost 100 consultants across South Africa, excluding franchises and their staff members. Terblanche was also awarded best annual growth rate in a previous position after achieving sales totalling over R1 million.
