Internet Solution Provider (ISP) XDSL will be showcasing their latest product offering at the MyBroadband Cloud and Hosting Conference which will be held on 09 June 2015 at Gallagher Convention Centre. XDSL will showcase its Mega Continuity offering, a first in South Africa, which includes a full cabinet in its carrier-class data centre, 100 Megabits per second (Mb/s) fibre Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) between the cabinet and the customer’s premises and zero Internet costs. The offering is available to customers based in the greater Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria areas.

Disaster Recovery is essential for any organisation, especially with frequent load shedding in South Africa. Organisations need minimal business disruption should disaster take place, allowing data to be retrieved as quickly as possible, resulting in minimal business disruption.  With an extra 100Mb/s to the cabinet with the Mega Continuity offering, fast replication becomes possible, as does running DR solutions in parallel with business systems.

The Mega Continuity solution offers enterprise customers the throughput required for full DR for business critical applications. Synchronous backup systems can be run during business hours, live replication for real-time failover is possible and time-to-recovery deadlines can be met.

Visit the XDSL stand – Hall 5, Stand 3 – at the MyBroadband Cloud and Hosting Conference to find out more about Mega Continuity and how the solution can assist and improve critical DR in your organisation.
