XDSL has appointed Kenny Coert, ex Telkom Wholesale Services executive, to head up the company’s new business development team. Coert will focus on driving new business sales within the enterprise, corporate and reseller (channel) space, while enhancing existing customer relationships and further establishing the XDSL brand in South Africa.

Says Coert, “I am excited to be working with a dynamic, next-generation ISP and market leader in this space.  XDSL has been first to market with a number of new services and offerings and I believe my experience will allow me to fast-track the company’s growth objectives.”

Coert’s immediate responsibilities are to focus on identified target markets, establish and grow new business opportunities, prioritise existing customer support and develop customised solutions. Increasing XDSL’s market share and promoting the brand will be another key focus for Coert.

Coert has garnered a great deal of experience from key positions within the industry including, and most notably, his role at Telkom SA SOC Ltd over a 12 year period. His most recent position was Executive for Wholesale Services and he was responsible for managing a sales team including account managers, sales support personnel, sales co-ordinators as well as a virtual team.
