At the annual MyBroadband conference, taking place at Gallagher Estate in Midrand on the 14th October 2015, local next-generation fibre Internet Solution Provider (ISP) XDSL will be launching a new range of products aimed at the large enterprise. The ‘Mega’ offering consists of Mega Co-location, Mega Continuity, Mega LAN, Mega WAN and Mega Internet. These products enable enterprises to leverage XDSL’s access to more than 200 000km of fibre across the country for access to high-speed networking and connectivity solutions.

“XDSL has developed strong relationships with leading vendors and Tier 1 carriers and we have a formidable network of business partners. This enables us to deliver enhanced dynamic solutions to a wide range of customers. Our Mega range extends this offering to the large enterprise, and we believe the MyBroadband conference is the ideal platform to launch our latest offerings,” says Johan Olivier, Commercial Manager at XDSL.

The MyBroadband Conference is the premier event of its kind in South Africa and it attracts IT executives and delegates from around the country. It represents one of the biggest events of the year for ISPs and is therefore the perfect platform to assist XDSL to build its brand, grow awareness of its offerings, and showcase its solutions to business and consumers.

Mega Co-location offers enterprises cabinet space in XDSL’s carrier-class data centre with free 100Mbps fibre link VLAN and high-speed access to hosted infrastructure. Mega Continuity offers a full cabinet in the data centre with zero Internet costs and 100Mbps fibre connectivity. Mega LAN delivers 500Mbps fibre between sites located up to 10km apart for high-speed inter-branch connectivity. Mega WAN is a Layer 2 network service that connects customers to all possible peering points and data centres in South Africa. Mega Internet offers high-speed fibre Internet access. These products can be taken separately or combined for added value and improved speed and service.

“As a platinum sponsor, we will be hosting one of the main stands in the middle of the venue, where we will be showcasing these and other products. Attendees will be able to interact with our product experts and our solutions and see how XDSL can help them to leverage next-generation connectivity and Internet solutions,” Olivier adds.

In addition to hosting a stand at the event, XDSL Commercial Director Danie Fourie will be part of a panel discussion on telecoms and technology in South Africa.
